Dracaena Warnekii House Plants, like all Dracaenas, are hardy, slow-growing houseplants that thrives on neglect. Sometimes referred to as the Striped Dracaena, this dracaena has long, pointed, narrow green and white striped leaves. Dracaena Warnekii House Plants can be used as table plants, bushy floor plants, or tall cane plants for home or office. A Dracaena Warnekii is one of the few colourful plants that can survive in low light conditions. NASA recommends Dracaena Warnekii HousePlants as one of the top ten plants for removing formaldehyde from the air.
LIGHT CONDITIONS: A Dracaena Warnekii survives in low light, but grows faster and fuller in medium light. In low light the new leaves of a Dracaena Warneki may be smaller and narrower. Direct sun burns the leaves of a Striped Dracaena.
WATER CONDITIONS: All Dracaena Plants like to be kept on the dry side. Water well and then allow the top 50% of the soil to dry out before watering a Dracaena Warnekii again. Dark brown leaf tips are a sign of over-watering a Dracaena Warnekii or extreme under-watering. The lower the light level the less water a Dracaena Warnekii needs. All Dracaenas are very sensitive to fluoride, so never use fluoridated water.
